Why attend your IT courses when a colleague can show me what to do?

All too often this happens within companies where staff turn to their internal Excel Spreadsheet guru, but what happens when a piece of work is urgently required and your guru has the day off? Having a solid understanding of how the software packages we use day in day out will give you the confidence to undertake tasks without wasting time bothering colleagues. Plus if you do a great job you'll be the one who gets the praise they deserve.

Why can't we just use our internal training department?

The truth is, you could; but it's worth taking the time to weigh up the cost not only monetary but in terms of the time it will take to train your staff to the desired level. The time and money spent placing an individual on external training quickly pays for itself when they implement their learning back in the workplace. Our professional trainers deal with these skills everyday and are in the best possible position to up-skill your staff. External training will also exposed your staff to best practise that they can then bring back into your organisation. Many of our delegates also find being away from their office for the day helps put them in the right frame of mind for training.

What support do you offer after my training course has finished?

When you leave our training courses you will be asked to complete an action plan detailing the elements of your training that you will implement back in the workplace and how. The trainer will contact you approximately 3-5 days after your training answer any questions that may arise when you return to your work. The tutors will always be contactable either through email or on the telephone in case you run into any difficulty or just can't remember what that formula was? You will also receive a manual or course notes to take away with you.

We use software for very specific functions; can you tailor your course to incorporate these?

Certainly, we work with many organisations that have adapted the way they use software. We will take the time to fully understand the way you use the software to meet your business objectives thereby allowing us to tailor the training to meet your specific requirements. We pride ourselves on the flexibility we offer as a company and will make every attempt to ensure our training meets your need.

I'm not sure what level I should be attending, can you tell me?

Of course, we have an initial assessment tool that will help diagnose your current skill level and provide you with a clear idea of the level of training you should be looking at attending.
