Deleting files
Deleting a file usually sends it to the Recycle Bin, from where it can be restored or permanently deleted at a later time.
To permanently delete a file straight away, avoiding the Recycle Bin, press Shift+Del.
Note: you will not be able to recover permanently deleted files without the use of advanced specialist software — so be sure you don't want the file before deleteing it.
